We all are locked up in our homes
with a hope to get victory over the spread of Covid-19, so with the same hope
of victory, Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ,
in a live interaction with students announced the much awaited dates
for JEE Mains examination and NEET Examination on 5 May 2020.
JEE (Joint Enterance Exam) and
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination holds the
position of one of the difficult exams of India. JEE Mains exam is enterance
exam for admission to reputed engineering institutions except IIT 's across the
nation. Qualifying JEE Mains makes a candidate eligible for JEE Advanced,
clearing which will further make them eligible to take admission to 23 IIT's.
NEET is the enterance examination
for admission to various medical courses in reputed medical colleges in India.
Date for the JEE MAIN exam 2020
JEE Mains exam date:- 18 to 23 July 2020
NEET exam date:- 26 July 2020
Earlier, the JEE Mains exam was
scheduled to be held from 5-11 April 2020.
However , the dates for JEE (advance)
will be announced later.
JEE MAINS 2020
Ministry of Human Resource Development has
given the responsibility to conduct Joint Enterance Exam (JEE) to National
testing Agency (NTA) from 2019 onwards.
NTA conducts JEE Mains twice a year-
January and April to select eligible candidates for admissions to
31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institutes of Information
Technology (IITs) and 28 Government
Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). JEE Mains is a computer based
examination.
To adress
the problems of students NTA has
also set up a JEE Main Query Redressal System (QRS), to answer various queries
or grievances by candidates so that they donot face any problem.

NEET 2020
National Eligibility cum Enterance
Test (NEET) is also conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET is
conducted annually. It has been made compulsory for aspiring candidates to sit
for NEET if they wish to take admission into medical colleges in India.
NEET is
the only entrance test for seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India.
